Yes, completely. Full source code, full documentation and admin training are handed over at the end of every build. There are no licence fees and no per-user charges. If you later want to bring maintenance in-house or move to another development team, you can do that without asking us.
That is usually the whole point of the build. We connect to accounting systems, inventory platforms, payment providers, shipping tools, email platforms and e-commerce stores. If a system has an API we can generally integrate it, and we confirm exactly what is possible during scoping, before you commit.
Then we will tell you, and we will name the tool. Custom software is the right answer when your process is genuinely unlike what the market sells, or when the disconnection between your systems is the actual problem. If neither applies, an existing product will serve you better and faster.
No. The handover is designed so you are not dependent on us. Most clients choose a support arrangement for updates and new features because it is convenient, not because they are locked in. The documentation is written on the assumption that somebody else may pick it up.
